RUSPO's back with a fresh new EP!

Paving the way for our upcoming record (to-be-released around July 2024), we’re launching this three-track album.

Consisting on two reworked unreleased b-sides from ESSES PATIFES and a remix/rework of a Brazilian lost carnaval hit, the EP also celebrates the 10th anniversary of our debut release.

NHEM NHEM NHEM was one of our favorite tracks to play live with the full band! The EP version has new lyrics, additional melodies and reworked arrangements. It's directly inspired by Brazilian singer BEBETO's 1976 album.

AGUA SALGADA was an unfinished song, left in a drawer for almost a decade. Now it came to life - stuffed with very depressive lyrics, and placidly accompanied by two astonishing voices: Julita Guarani, an indigenous woman, (field-recorded, praying during corn harvest, and sampled in track intro); and Brazilian singer Marina Ribeiro (on backing vocals). Our three voices are finely accommodated in the realms of Anthony Philips/Genesis guitar samples

Marina is also the singer in NA CIDADE - a lost gem by Greek-Brazilian band Os Amantes Invisiveis, released in their 2009 debut EP, and almost forgotten. Until now, hopefully!

Alexis Gotsis is NA CIDADE original songwriter, and also helped with mixing and did the mastering for the EP, as well as our two full-length previous records.
